2.dünya savaşı sırasında geçen bir aşk temalı film. Savaş dediysek, cephe arkalarında sevişen bir çift gelmesin aklınıza, sadece yıl olarak o yıllar.
insan-tanrı arasındaki ilişkilere yer yer değinen, yeri geldiğinde bunun bir inanç değil de menfaat çatışması olduğunu içten içe anlatıyor sanki film bize. Film dememeli aslında, bu da bir kitap uyarlamasıdır. Graham Greene'in aynı isimdeki romanının bir uyarlaması.
Yönetmenliğini Neil Jordan'ın yaptığı, oyuncu kadrosunda ise Schindler's List filminden bildiğimiz Ralph Fiennes, The Big Lebowski filminden Julianne Moore ve Stephen Rea ( bu adam için de bir film isterseniz V for Vendetta:)

Yönetmenliğini Martin McDonagh'ın yaptığı, baş rollerde ise ağlayan yüzlü Colin Farrell, sevdiğimiz o ingiliz aksanıyla Ralph Fiennes ve Brendan Gleeson oynuyor. Hem Colin Farrell'ı hem de Ralph Fiennes'ı bu denli zevkli bir filmde görmemiştim. Diyalog akışı ise çok güzel durmuş. Seri konuşmalar ve ince dokundurmalar.
Bu filmde gördüğüm bir diğer güzellik ise, filmin esas kızı,Clémence Poésy. izleyin seveceksiniz.Filmi yani..
Belçikanın Bruges kentinde geçen bu filmi izlerken ölmeden önce oraya gitmek isteyebilirsiniz. Nitekim bu filmin orda geçme nedeni de budur.
